Hello! THANK YOU for visiting our Campaign! We are Mark and Laquilla Lane, the Founders of Husband and Wife for Life! Our mission and purpose for The Husband and Wife for Life Movement is to encourage, inspire, and guide couples to create and sustain healthy, long-lasting relationships. Our passion has always been to help others but God’s calling has shifted us toward helping marriages. We love how God is using us! With the present divorce rate being close to 50%, we challenge couples to conquer obstacles and to have healthy marriages. One of our goals is to give hope of a lasting marriage to millions worldwide.
-What We Need-
Our goal for this campaign is $5,000. This financial blessing will help us with the cost of adding special features to our professional website, and spreading our mission with advertising and community outreach.
-Why?-
Presently our website is accessible to many of our users, but it does not have the capability of containing features that we feel would help get the information to couples a lot faster. In July 2012, we launched our first professional website. Shortly after, we realized that our website lacked the capabilities needed to conveniently support our users’ greatest need; professional faith-based counseling. We desire to include detailed search engines to help couples find places to go for one-on-one support for their relationship.
We are currently a vendor at the Dallas Bridal Show, which is our first community outreach method. There, we offer free mini pre-martial seminars, spread our movement and encourage brides/grooms to Accept the Challenge. We would like to build onto that by reaching out to churches and other marriage organizations nationally with the proper advertising. With over 180,000 marriages that have joined into the movement worldwide through social media, we want to support these efforts by now reaching out more into the community and building face to face relationships.
We need your help to get our resources and movement out to the world! An updated website and resources to help us reach the community will allow us to move one step closer to completing God's work.
-Your Help-
With our fulfilled financial requests, we will be able to offer marriages around the world the tools they need to access more information when they need it. This would also make us visible to the communities that are in the most need by displaying ads in multiple forms, meeting others and partnering with bridal shows across the US.
The Dallas brides and grooms are a real treat when they walk up to our booth. With over 2,000,000 marriages happening each year, the ability to vendor at other bridal shows would be an honor. There is a lack of counseling efforts at bridal shows since they mainly focus on just the wedding and honeymoon. We want brides and grooms to leave the show with excitement and a different outlook on the longevity of their new marriage!
Fulfilling our requests in donations will also leverage our brand and help us to be a direct reflection on how genuinely passionate and serious we are about our mission!

Our organization started in January 2010 with a small following of 600+ members. After a short while we developed the Movement for change in marriages. Now, with a growing member count of 180,000+, God is truly impacting marriages nationally and internationally! We are striving to make marriage achievable, by motivating, encouraging and inspiring couples to overcome obstacles and to put God first. Please help us by praying for our mission, for the marriages that will be affected by the Movement and by financially funding our mission. Please give what God has placed in your heart to give.
