Since I found out my wife was pregnant (back in 2013) I wanted to make sure I completed some sort of project so my child would see something that I created, something that would be tangible for his or her hands. That is what this poetry collection is, a completion of a time where I was writing poetry. It could have been in the back of college notebooks and staying up late chatting online and listening to music to somehow gain a muse for my writings. I went through all of my writings at that time and created something of that time frame for you to read.
“I am not an Artist” is the mindset I was in, the loneliness, the heart ache, the wishful thinking and of hope. The backdrop is of post 9/11 and a college career ending in Buffalo New York.
You would be helping out to create something. It would be official, I would be able to get an ISBN number and officially sell the collection at stores and Amazon. Also would be able to put it in Nook and Kindle for electronic reading.
I would be able to pay for the website and be able to officially self-publish the collection and move forward with a couple other projects that are almost completed.
It would also help to show both my son and daughter that anything is possible when you put your mind to create something.

There will be a stretch goal of $1,500 for when it is reached everyone who bought the Collection will be upgraded to a Hardcover copy of the book.
If we reach $2,000 stretch goal everyone who bought the Signed Copy will get an exclusive artwork for the next project I am working on, A children’s book.
