"You can never change the past...but you can take it back"
This is a true story documented by Dana Walsh, the high school friend of a young woman named Diane.
In 1991 Dana found out that that Diane had been brutally stabbed to death in an alley in New Orleans on Christmas morning in 1987. Dana did not find out for three years because their friendship was forced to take different paths, a few years prior. Dana knew a secret and was sworn not to tell. In 2011 Dana was finally able to find the courage to search for answers that she had needed for over 20 years, and in 2013 was finally able to go to the place where Diane had been murdered to say her final goodbye and promise Diane that the world would know her name.
We are here to tell the story of Diane to hopefully help those who are currently suffering abuse or have been abused in the past, and feel hopeless, to those who can truly help them.
Our goals are to create awareness and compassion around the numbers of victims of Childhood Sexual Abuse.
