Hi, everyone!

First off, I want to thank all of you for your recent encouragement after I quit my job to pursue this crazy filmmaking journey full time. It’s a lot of hard work and anxiety, but I’m having the time of my life and loving every second of it! So thanks for all the kind words!

For those of you just meeting me, I’ve written and directed a few projects recently, including two full-length movies. One was a thriller, the other a comedy. However, horror has long been my favourite genre, and I don’t want to wait any longer to make a full-length horror movie!

After quitting my job, I wrote the script for I’m Haunted in 3 weeks and I’m very happy with it. I’ll be shooting it in October! It will star Elizabeth Chamberlain. I’ve worked with Elizabeth before and she’s an amazing, rising star in the acting world. I also brought on Emily Anne Salkeld to help co-produce.

We’ll be holding auditions to fill the other roles in the film.

My main motivation for I’m Haunted is that I want to create a different sort of story. I love the traditional “haunted house” story and this is my version of it. I’ve met so many talented people on my filmmaking journey and I’m excited to see what they can do in a feature-length horror.

I’m trying something innovative for this project. Since I’m Haunted takes place in real time as the main character takes us through her terrifying journey in a video blog, I plan to release it in short episodes over the course of two months that the story takes place in. Afterwards, I’ll release it as a full-length film.

The story is very scary but, as co-producer Emily Anne puts it, there’s also, “a lot of humanity to it.” I’m trying something new and it’s going to be a blast making it!

Your donation will help make this movie happen! The money will go towards paying the cast and crew, but a large portion will go towards marketing and promotions. I want to share this story with the world and have it go beyond anything else I’ve made before!

Anything from festival entries to Facebook advertising. I want to create a huge fanbase for I’m Haunted and I want you to be a part of it. Not only are we giving away cool perks in exchange for donations (like comic books I wrote, posters, Hot Box pipes, etc.), we’re also giving the chance to be a producer on the project.
