What tool you need to build CNC machine?
If you have some basic tools at your house then you almost have every necessary tools (see some sample tools that i used to build CNC).
Note :: If you have better precision and accuracy tools like milling machine ,it would be better.

How to using CNC ::
There are 3 workflows to using CNC. (CAD --> CAM --> G-Code)
- Use CAD program or vector drawing program.
- Use CAM program to convert your CAD or vector to G-Code
- Run G-Code in CNC (Load G-Code to CNC Control software like Mach3)
Frequently Asked Questions ::
Q :: What's material the machine can cut?
A :: Soft metal , aluminium , wood , plastic , acrylic.
Q :: Do your plan design by using inch/mm ?
A :: It's design by using millimeter.
Q :: Can this plan convert to 4ft x 8ft?
A :: It can convert to 4ft x 8ft but if you tuning motor to run fast then it will have some issued on 8ft base , the ball screw will twisting and it will make the machine lose step and will damage your work peice , for 8ft base it should be rack & pinion.
Q :: Why does it have a few video of the machine on your blog?
A :: Because after finished build the machine not for long i need to did medical treatment to cure neuroinflammation then i need to sold it to get money to support my treatment.
Q :: Where to buy the parts for build CNC?
A :: You need to find it from your local supplier or if you can't find it then go eBay.
Q :: What's different between iD2CNC v.2.0 on your blog and iD2CNC v.2.1?
A :: iD2CNC v.2.1 design base on v.2.0 but improve and solve some issued that v.2.0 have.
Q :: Can this plan covert to Plasma CNC?
A :: Yes , you can convert it to Plasma CNC by remove center base aluminium profile and change table top to support plasma and add/or change spindle clamp to plasma clamp but it don't have detail how to convert it in this plan , you do it at your own risk.
