Introduction
Crime happens on a daily base and we are all subject to its various forms. It is impossible for victims to call authorities for help, while handling an emergency situation. Any attempt to call for help during an emergency situation may result in serious consequences.
What's iHelp
iHelp is an emergency response system that activate by recognizing user's voice in emergency situations.
App Details
The app is activated by voice recognition when user speaks the word "Ihelp", or
an alternate pre-programmed phrase. Upon activation, the application immediately queries the Global Positioning System (GPS) to acquire location information, then records that information. The application acquires the appropriate emergency dispatch number based on the acquired location information, places a cellular telephone call to emergency services, creates a recording of the situation, and transmits a pre-recorded or generated voice message in the appropriate local language, providing the user's location information.
All recordings, and data acquired or created by the application are transmitted to and stored within a database, maintained on the server of iHelp’s managing entity, and available for retrieval.
Any attempt to deactivate the application after its activation will require a password. Thus an attacker or other unauthorized person cannot disable the application.
Why iHelp
iHelp provide services for users anywhere in the world. The app stores all emergency numbers across the world, and communicates with authorities using the local language of that region.
