I was born in Mumbai, India, and came home to my mom who is Finnish when I was five. I'm 16 now and attend the Tacoma School of the Arts (SOTA) in Washington State where I'm majoring in photography. I love to take pictures! 

 Next year, I have the opportunity to study in Helsinki. I can live with cousins and attend high school and photograph!  I want to keep a terrific photo blog of what I see and do and experience, and you can follow along.  

Of course, it all takes money. My mom is single, working multiple part-time jobs, and caring for my sister and me.  I am hoping to help our family by finding the support to make this trip and to get a real camera (I only have an iPhone right now).  I will need about $1800 for living expenses and about $700 for a good digital camera.  That's where I came up with $2500.
