Inequality-opoly is a custom property trading game that demonstrates how structural racism and sexism in America serve as impediments to accumulating wealth. In this game like in the real world, certain players based on their perceived identity enjoy privileges while others face obstacles to building wealth. 

            I am raising funds to manufacture and distribute as many games as possible throughout the country to spread awareness and advance discourse about the effects of structural racism and sexism in America, specifically how it creates and sustains wealth inequality.

            This project became a passion of mine after I recognized the need to make diversity, equity, and inclusion training more engaging and impactful. I figured it would be engaging and educational to make a property trading game that modeled the real-life effects of Sexism and Racism have on accumulating wealth.

            This game does not claim to encompass or simulate the enormous complexity of Racism and Sexism in America. The game aims to focus on how Sexism and Racism effect the accumulation of wealth.
