INFIRMITY. Use as directed.
Infirmity is an upcoming new horror thriller short film from writers/directors Kyle Hytonen and Derek Lukosius. We are both award winning film-makers based in Ontario, Canada who have directed films separately over the last few years. Our films have won several awards, and have been screened at over 30 film festivals in the US, Canada and Europe.

Kyle's most recent short, Massacre at Femur Creek was named one of the 10 Best Shorts by The Horror Movie Diary. Derek is in post production on The Lone Paddler, his feature film directorial debut. We have decided to direct Infirmity together after having so much fun creating the script, with the hopes this collaboration can lead to more films down the road.

What We Need
We are looking to raise $1,500 to create this film. It will be shot independently with a small and dedicated cast & crew in Hamilton, Ontario. $1,500 might seem like small potatoes to some, but we guarantee that every penny (even if we don't meet our goal) will go towards what's on screen.
Here is a breakdown of where the funds will be going:
-
Production: $900 (Cast, Crew, Location, Props, Equipment Rental, Travel Expenses, Craft Services)
-
Post Production: $300 (Editing, Colour Grade, Sound Mix, Deliverables)
-
Marketing & Release: $300 (Film Fest Submission Fees, DVD, Postal Fees)
Everyone is working below scale rates for this production, but the dedication and desire from everyone involved to make another great horror short is what keeps our costs low.
