My name is Lauren Watson and I am an Australian actress based in Vancouver.
In August 2011, I started a production company called Oakora Entertainment.
The purpose of Oakora Entertainment is to make incredible films and to create jobs for talented, passionate, amazing people who love to make movies!

In February 2011, I wrote a film called "Speak Now".

In 2012, we shot our second short film "Daisies", which is just wrapping up post-production and setting up for festival submission.

We are back again for round 3, with "InstaDate". A comedy, written by Brian Hopson.

Short Summary

InstaDate is a story about Summer and Dan. They have been dating online and now they're meeting for the first time in person, where Dan gets more than he bargained for.

What We Need & What You Get

We need to raise $5000.

$5000 will go into camera and sound equipment, wardrobe, insurance, craft services, crew and permits.
It will also cover the costs of entering the finished film into festivals, posters and DVD copies!

The Impact

This will enable us at Oakora Entertainment be able to help pay our cast and crew and in turn, create jobs here in Vancouver for the inspiring, talented, selfless, passionate people who simply love making movies.
