Synopsis:

  “Aayaan” is a story of a thirteen years old orphan boy and journey of his childhood.  When his maternal uncle puts him in an orphanage his life goes upside down, heading towards an unknown uncertain future. The orphanage was worst place in the earth you can imagine. So, one day in the darkness of midnight when he escapes from the orphanage his life becomes miserable.

  Now it’s time to survive. How can he survive with no place for his head, with no penny in his pocket, with no one to take care of him in harsh condition of urban jungle? Will he live or will he die? It’s a tale of his journey which sets in two big cities Calcutta, Mumbai in India in present time.

After finishing the film plan or distribution film:

After finishing the film (after post-production) when film is ready we will send the film (officially from UK) to some well respected film festivals like Cannes film festival, London film festival (BFI), Sundance film festival etc. (depends on the timeline of the film - which are those film festivals we are getting) to get the attention of distribution companies for theatrically release the film worldwide.  We hope we will do well in the film festivals circuit.

About the Director:

Subhankar Adhikary :
