Improve Teaching & Learning Worldwide
My name is Oliver, and I have been passionate about H5P for over 2.5 years now. The software and the ideal of openness that it pursues for the world of learning and teaching are inspiring for me. That's why I have contributed a lot of code to the open source project already, and now you can be a part of that endeavor! Even if you don't know how to write a single line of source code, you can support H5P and help to improve the teaching and learning experience worldwide!
What You Will Unlock For The World

The resume feature: If H5P's "save content state" option is activated, whenever learners return to their exercise, they can continue where they have left before. The repetition mode of Dialog Cards can now be used for spaced repetition over time.
Please note: In order to work, this feature requires the save-content-state option of H5P to be activated and learners need to be logged into your host system.

An option to start over: If learners feel that they got stuck in some way, they will now be able to start over by choosing to do so on the summary screen after each round. Of course, they will be warned and have to confirm before the exercise is reset.

The openly licensed source code: The code is complete already. It will be openly released under the MIT license right after the funding goal has been met. This means anyone can use, modify and redistribute it for free!

Swift integration into H5P: The H5P core team at Joubel will prioritize this contribution high for review to guarantee high quality, and they will include the new features in the official repository right away. The changes will be released shortly via the H5P Hub after the funding goal has been met.

The code is complete already
What I Need
Actually, the code is complete and the feature is working already as you can see in the video. However, I dared to become an IT freelancer and now will have to find funding for what I do for H5P. Not all of the time, as the project is dear to my heart, but occasionally.
The 1,500 € I am asking for seem a lot, but I won't keep it all.
500 € will go to Joubel for timely quality assurance and release. The core team will thoroughly test the code and the new features for problems and prepare everything for integration into the official code of H5P.
On top of that, there are fees that go to Indiegogo and to the payment processor, and ultimately I'll have to pay taxes, too. All of that will diminish the sum quite a bit. Rest assured that this is really a discount price this time. It's a tribute to me learning how to do campaigns :-D
Risks & Challenges
Actually, I don't think there are any risks for you. The code is done already. The core team agreed to include it after quality assurance. If the funding goal is not met, you will be refunded automatically. If there's anything that you're worried about still, let me know!
Other Ways You Can Help
Any (larger) sum is welcome for this project, but I know some people just can't contribute or don't like the particular features of this project. That doesn't mean you can't help:
