THIS WAS SIMULTANEOUSLY MY GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT AND MY LARGEST FAILURE
HOPEFULLY I WILL FIND A WAY TO MAKE IT UP TO YOU AND REDEEM MYSELF
THANK YOU FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO BELIEVED IN ME
MY REACH EXCEEDED MY GRASP
The Prerequisites
to be clear, the album that this movie is based on is COMPLETED and can be found at
https://ytcracker.bandcamp.com/album/introducin... or any other fine places that you could procure an album on the internet.
for those of you who don't know who i am, i am ytcracker, long time digital gangster, hacktivist and internet rapper. i hail from a genre of music that has come to be known as "nerdcore", regaling the masses with tales of the information superhighway as if it were my gang's turf, because it is. i have been producing music for a while and have a decent "indie" following, and i feel that this is my strongest work to date.
The Premise
introducing neals is a retrofuture, cyberpunk "hiphopera" on the road to becoming an hour-long, musical anime. its purpose is to serve as a multimedia, multi-medium commentary on the open source movement, hacktivism, government surveillance, and net neutrality with familiar 1980s tropes and familiar 1980s corniness.
it started out as a mostly fictional account of possible events, but as time has progressed, key plot points of the album have reared their ugly head in real life.
What a Nerd Needs
i am trying to raise a relative fortune of ~$137k to offset animation costs of the full movie, so i need all the help i can get. that is for the most barebones, no profit, shoestring tommy wiseau animated extravaganza money can buy.
i need you to listen to the album "introducing neals" and think about how cool it would be as an animated movie. you can pirate it, buy it, stream it on spotify, whatever - as long as you bump that ish.

The Impact
albums are dead in 2014 because people aren't telling the right stories anymore. we live in the age of internet super maximum hard awesomeness and there are people that are trying to take that from us.
there are albums that would make bad movies, and this is not one of them. this is an anime for the kids - something that belongs on adult swim and kid swim. they could show this on pbs and teach the young minds about how protecting the internet is important.
also, neals cosplay will be super cool.
Risks & Challenges
i got a team of villains at my disposal trying to make this the hardest joint ever. it is a global effort - animation studios in serbia and australia, political parties in sweden, high canadians, lazy americans, you name it. we need to prevent global thermonuclear war so that way everyone in the different parts of the world can survive long enough to finish the project.
governments might assassinate us - but that's always going on, so whatever - what're you gonna do?
Other Ways You Can Help
tell everyone you know that the internet is a battleground and we are at war.
Cryptoballers
cryptoballers are dear to my heart because they support cryptocurrency. with cryptocurrency, i will allow myself to be abused for perks unlisted here, such as personal hacking lessons, private concerts, or we can hang out and do science from the dark web.
if you'd rather donate cryptocurrency for any of the perks or just because you feel like it, hit one of these addresses with that sweet math and shoot us an email at brevoccollective@gmail.com with what perk you ordered and the relevant tx information.
