About Tech2Educate

Eventually we will provide tablets to enhance all core subjects, but our first study will focus on improving mathematics in middle school. A student well prepared in middle school will have a better chance of succeeding in high school and beyond.

A needs assessment will be conducted with the school and the students in order to maximize the educational benefit. It is important to be able to measure the progress of the students and constantly improve the effectiveness and delivery of the lesson.

The math proficiency level of each student participating will be tested prior to the iPad program beginning and after the program to assess the impact. 

The Impact

• 100% of funds received will end up in the school and in the hands of students! 
• Only 50% of students in Philadelphia are proficient in Math. Technology will engage the students and get them excited about learning.
• Through the use of educational software, students, teachers, and administrators will be able to track student progress.
• We work directly with the schools to ensure results and we will publish them on our website.
• We have a Temple University Education Professor and a Professor of Marketing from Drexel University on our board of directors to help manage the study.
