Short Summary
Thank you for considering contributing to the Irish Cultural Center Hudson Valley indiegogo campaign. Our team is committed to establishing a world-class facility on the Kingston waterfront, on the historic site where much of the work of the original Irish immigrants in the area was done. The Center will stand as a tribute to their memory and as a testament to the current and future vitality of the Irish culture in the Hudson Valley region. The Center's programs will include language, music, arts, history and geneology, and, perfect for its location on the Rondout, the creation of a currach racing club. The ICCHV is a registered non-profit organization, and it needs your help to thrive.
What We Need & What You Get
The ICCHV is kicking off our fundraising efforts, and a very special event is coming up.
* Make a donation of at least $35 and claim your perk - a reservation for a light buffet and benefit performance by world-renowned Irish musician Liam O'Maonlai of the Hothouse Flowers at the Steel House in Kingston, NY. August 1, 5-8pm. Opening acts include the AOH Pipers/Drummers and The Solas An Lae dancers. Liam is a life-long, revered champion of Irish culture at home in Ireland and around the globe. This evening is not to be missed!
PLEASE NOTE: *********Each space you'd like to reserve must be entered here as SEPARATE donations because each donation (of $35 or more) will register you for one perk. For example, if you'd like to reserve four spaces, you must make 4 separate $35 donations. ********** Be sure to click the button that says "Claim your perk" for our records the night of the show (you can make a donation without attending).
All donations are tax-deductible. Save your receipts.
In fact, please bring your receipt with you on the night of August 1st to show you are claiming your perk. If you cannot produce the receipt, please be prepared with the name and email address of the donor. Thanks!
The Impact
Your donation is much needed and will make the valuable work of the ICCHV possible. Our unique culture is an asset to the Hudson Valley and we are working hard to make our dream a reality. In addition, the Center will honor the history and sacrifice of the hard-working Irish families who migrated to our area.
Other Ways You Can Help
Donations of any amount are welcomed. If you are unable to attend the benefit, we appreciate any donation at all. Also, please help to spread the word of our campaign to your networks! The ICCHV is one of the most dynamic and robust projects in our area. Let's make it happen! A hundred thousand thanks!
