What is it? |
JackSafe is Magnetic 3,5mm audio jack adapter. This adapter helps to prolong the life of original audio jack and audio port of your device. It will save your device or headphone if something accidentally pulls the wire. |
Who created it? |
We're a team of 4 who came from a variety of backgrounds including engineering, design and commercial manufacturing. We are living in Shenzhen and professionally involved in producing OEM audio products. |
Why should we use it? |
Due to the force needed to insert and remove the audio connector, device audio socket cloud break over time. So if you need to often switch between multiple devices, JackSafe will help. JackSafe is also useful in these kinds of situations: someone knocked on the door and you go to open the door, someone called you and you go to respond, you feel thirsty and you go to drink some water, but each time you forgot that you have headsets in your ears, then JackSafe is definitely for you.

Which phones does it work with? |
We tested with iPhone, Nokia, HTC, Blackberry, Samsung, Xiaomi, Meizu phones, of course, we cannot test it with all phones on the market, but we can assure you it will work with 97% of devices that has a universal headphone jack connector. |
What colors do you offer? |
Due to high demands of minimum order quantity for the first batch, we decided to choose only the black color. |
Will it support headset detection on the phone? |
Unfortunately, it cannot detect the earphones or headsets connection. When the JackSafe's phone part is inserted into the phone (or other audio devices), the phone will always think that the headset is connected, it will keep playing music even if the second part of JackSafe is disconnected. So it will require stopping music manually. |

Will it work with my phone case? |
We tested our prototype with many cases and found that it fit almost all cases if the thickness at the place of connection of the case does not exceed 1,5mm. |
What are additional features available? |
JackSafe will align itself, just put two parts of it close to each other and it will connect itself in the right way. |
I used to catch my falling phone by pulling the earphones wire. Will JackSafe save my device in a similar situation? |
No, JackSafe is designed to prevent the cable from breaking or your devices like laptops from being cracked to the floor due to accidental pulling. We do not recommend to rely on the earphones wire when the phone is falling. First of all earphones cable can be destroyed, second device audio port also can be broken. Please use rugged phone cases to protect your phones, some of them can be really slim and good looking meanwhile they can stand drops from 30ft. |
How will it help to prolong the life of my device audio port? |
Every connector has a limited lifetime, which is measured in plug/unplug cycles. Especially when an accidental pulling force applied to the audio jack it can be damaged. Thanks to magnetic connection JackSafe will simply disconnect saving your audio jack from wearing out. |
Is it can be used as a waterproof plug for audio jack? |
Jack safe can be used as a dustproof plug, but it's not waterproof. |

Is there a warranty? |
Yes, all of our audio adapters come with a 3 months warranty. This warranty covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover gradual wear throughout it's lifetime that is to be expected from normal use. |

What is your refund policy during the Indiegogo campaign? |
See these steps on How to Request a Refund. During the Indiegogo campaign, you can process the refund at any time by contacting support@indiegogo.com or searching their help center. Refunds are processed on a case-by-case basis; at some point, we will need to lock refunds in order to go into production & shipment. We will not be able to refund orders once they've shipped. |
What is your return/exchange policy? |
If you received your product and you aren't satisfied, you may exchange it for a new one within 30 days, you will need to bear shipping & handling fees. Our team consists of professionals with more than 9 years of experience in earphones design and engineering. We are living in China for years designing, developing and manufacturing products for export, we are conversant in the language, adept at the business culture, and has a strong network. With our experience in manufacturing, we will try our best to minimize all risks. At the current stage, with prototype and testing were done, we don't foresee any issues with getting this product to the market. All we need is your backing!
