The Essence of the Company
The Japanese character 士 translates as gentleman, warrior or samurai. To avoid too obvious a connotation, we added a second 士 into the logo 士士, set to the Japanese sun. We have come to recognise this with certain artistic license as “The Patriot”.
The character士士gives itself to the double ‘tt’ letters in the company name Putt Absolutte.
The Soul
Each beautifully designed limited edition putter has a unique identity with the name of one of 162 Japanese patriots engraved on the sole.
Each putter head is presented differently and reflects the belief of its Patriot with tastefully engraved elegance.
The Illustrations
The drawings by Alex Faichan are illustrations of the 162 Patriots, visually recreating the remarkable story of each.
It is important to Putt Absolutte that each unique putter invokes the Patriot soul to imbue class, honour and pride.
"Uesugi Kenshin, nickname was "Dragon of Echigo", to contrast with Takeda Shingen, the "Tiger of Kai".
Alex was born in Hong Kong and has been working in the CG industry for over 10 years.
He worked as a Matte Painter, Colorkey Artist, Storyboard Artist, and Illustrator at IMAGI ANIMATION STUDIOS
In 2011, he was a Comic Book Artist at UNICORN STUDIOS HK.
