You’re late. You’re always late. Your shoes are barely tied, you have a stain on your shirt, you’re working this job because whatever, because you have to, because it doesn’t require a college degree. You’re jaywalking through life, without a real goal or direct path, and you'd rather just be left alone.
Jaywalking is the story of two directionless dudes named Nate and Aaron. Nate is 18 and works as an assistant manager at Valley Burger. He’s a sweet hearted kid who lives in a seedy motel, plays online games, and is getting over an intense breakup. It shook him to his core.
Aaron is 30, and an insurance salesman at his father’s agency, Stendahl Insurance. He likes to think of himself as street-smart, but it's probably more accurate to say that he's is in a state of constant arrested development ever since his mom died. Through a chance meeting at a grocery store in June, at a silly contest to see who can stay inside a tent the longest, Aaron and Nate form the beginnings of an unlikely partnership. Sure they win a tent, but it's more than that, it's the start of something real.
Throughout the movie, they brush shoulders with a macho snowmobiler named Sleddog, who forces Nate and Aaron to face their fears and become something they never thought they could become: confident men.
We need $7,500 for food, gas, lodging, and rentals. The remaining portion of our budget has been sourced privately through friends, so this is the final stage of finance. I want to take care of everyone and make sure this is a smooth production.
We offer unique gifts, not tchotchke's, stuff that you actually want. The super soaker 50 pins are especially cool, and our wrap party is going to be a blast. If you're from Eau Claire or are familiar with the area, you know how much art is a part of the community and vice versa.
The bigger corporate rewards are a solid option for those who own businesses and are interested in creating dynamic video content for their brand. Given my background in advertising, we are confident that any video The Del Re crew creates for you will be exciting, and will reach your desired demographic.
We made Sugar Mountain with $500, and we were fresh out of film school. Imagine what we can do with more money, time, a talented cast, crew, and years of experience behind the camera. We know this is going to be a really good movie, one that we would want to watch. Columbia College Grad Everett Ravens is our cinematographer, he has been working with Eaton since 2009. Their shared artistic vision has brought them through several projects together, so we know this is going to be solid.
There aren't any stars attached to this film, and we don't have a two ton grip truck. What we do have is a cast of over 40 people, all experienced performers, and a crew of highly skilled individuals who regularly work on major motion pictures and television.
