In the late 1800s in the midst of the Victorian Era, lawyer Gabriel John Utterson, a friend and confidant of Dr. Henry Jekyll, investigates a string of murders and mishaps, attributed to Hyde, and how they are connected to his friend's disappearance.
Our story is a direct adaptation from the Robert Louis Stevenson novella set in the dark and dank expanse of Victorian London.
With our goal set at $50K, we will be able to cover costs from pre-production, through filming and all the way through post.
Here's a breakdown of Production Costs:
Remember: our goal is $50K which will allow us to plant the seed that will hopefully grow into a nourishing tree all thanks to your generous support.
By meeting our goal, we can officially Greenlight the film and we are able to:
- Provide jobs and a dream project for the cast and crew that have already been working incredibly hard to make this happen.
- Secure bigger locations, more authentic wardrobe and set dressing, and the over all production value will skyrocket with every contribution.
- Acquire the resources needed for such an ambitious Period Piece with classic standards that we will live up to.
- Give interested investors a foundation to build on.
We get it. There are a number of potential crowd funding campaigns the
don't deliver on their final product. We guarantee this is going to come
to a finished product.

Each
member on our team has enjoyed recent success in the same job
they are reprising for this film. We know our stuff and we have a vision. We just
need YOUR help to make that vision into something solid and tangible.
- NAME TALENT are attaching *pending funds.
- INVESTORS are seriously interested in this film, but we need to secure a seed fund for them to add to.
- DISTIBUTORS (yes, plural) have quotes ready, once some funding comes together. Once they see a number in the bank, they may finish funding our budget in Pre-Sales, before we even start filming.
- We need your help and every generous dollar can realistically turn into the equivalent of ten.
- Period pieces cost more than most other genres, simply due to the authentic requirements and beautiful visuals they contain.
Filmmaking is tough and making a feature length Period Piece is harder than most. But we will not give up on bringing this story to life!
Our highest hurdles:
- Lodging and Food for the exceedingly talented Cast and Crew.
- Art and Wardrobe Departments, and the incredibly resourceful people dedicated to them.
- Locations, with their required aesthetic and the production value they bring is priceless.
Our solutions:
- The Boston area in rich with theatrical establishments and entertainment groups. We are working with local theaters and costume houses to dress this piece with an accurate class. These venues and their craftspeople deserve any financial compensation we can afford.
- One of the most talented and hardworking Location Managers (KAREN STARK) in the industry has been finding us the perfect locations for this film. We need to give back to the locations who will allow our crew into their doors and our priceless Manager for her services.
- In order to keep filmmaking alive, we need to offer a sum for the use of these locations. Whether they be public parks or private homes, the kind managers and owners who are granting our use, deserve to be compensated and doing so in a financial way keeps their locations operating and available for the enjoyment of future filmmakers.
- MA Film Office has been astounding in their eagerness to help us film in their beautiful State. Thrilled by the fact that we are going to execute this production with efficiency and a minimal crew, they have gone over and beyond to get us hooked up with the best location connections available.
- A few local Hotels have been able to provide very good deals on mass quantities of extended stay rooms, to house our non-local cast and crew members.

Where in the world is this film going after completion? Potentially everywhere.
- Two UK Distribution companies are interested, as are three in the US. Any one of these would secure a humble theatrical release, and more.
- With lead actors from New Zealand, and some from the UK interested in signing on, and industry connections in Australia, Canada, and the US, we have incredible potential for widespread international and domestic distribution.
- Film Festivals we will be submitting to: London International, Cannes, Sundance, Venice, Melbourne, New Zealand International, Toronto, and Raindance, to list some big ones. Along with a large handful of smaller festivals around the US and Europe.
Now onward and spread the word!
- Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Blog, and most importantly - word of mouth.
- If you can't contribute at this time, share our campaign with someone who might!
