"One Click Away" Preview

My new CD, "Amen for Old Friends" is nearly done. Help me finish the last few steps to release it!

Hello Friends,                                                                                                                   

I'm in the final stages of finishing up my 11th album, "Amen for Old Friends." It's been five years since I released a new CD. That's the longest I've ever gone between projects...it took me that long to save up enough money to get back in the studio again and, hallelujah, it sure feels good to record some new songs! My co-producer for this CD, Duane Sciacqua, is one the best musicians in the business. He's played guitar for Paul McCartney, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh, and Rodney Atkins, to name a few. It is an honor to have his stellar playing so prominent on this album.                                           

Thus far, I've financed this project with my piggy bank but, I'm at point now where I need your help to take it to the next level. I'm asking you to partner with me so I can launch this album nationally with a professional promotion team and a music video. So, in order to raise the funds needed to promote this project, and to give you the chance to pre-order some cool stuff, I'm doing this IndieGoGo campaign. This album brings together the many styles I've played during my career including, Blues, Country, Folk, and Americana. It has 14 songs on it, some serious, and some humorous, including "Goin' Down Hill" written by old friend, X. Lincoln (along with John Anderson). I recorded that song as a duet with Waylon Payne, a talented singer/actor, who portrayed Jerry Lee Lewis in the film "Walk the Line." Waylon also has a major role in the forthcoming film "The Identical." The debut single from my new CD will be "Goin' Down Hill" and Waylon and I want to shoot a music video of it to honor our mutual friend, X Lincoln, who passed away a few months ago. A portion of the money you help me raise will go toward making that video, the rest will be used to hire a professional publicist and radio promotion team.

I can't predict how the critics will review this album but I can tell you, from my heart, that this is one of my best efforts.
