The Story
In 1967, Scott Anders rocketed into space on a secret, CIA-sponsored mission referred to as the Kayless Project... to investigate an astronomical anomaly known only in the darkest corridors of the U.S. Government. Three days later all communication ceased. The project, seen as an embarrassing and costly failure, was erased from history and forgotten.
Until today, when Scott mysteriously plummets to earth and emerges, unscathed, and hellbent on one purpose… to return to the anomaly in space. Why does he want to go back? How did he gain his new invulnerability? And what is the mysterious organization that stands in his way, determined to protect the secret of Kayless at all costs?

Who's Running This?
Silverline is run by Roland Mann (the owner of this account). A veteran of the comic industry, Roland got his start in comics in the late 80s during the black and white boom. He became an editor for Malibu (where he gave artist Mike S. Miller some of his first work), Ultraverse (where he was editor of SLUDGE, done by superstar artist Aaron Lopresti), and ultimately Marvel Comics. He was...downsized in the late 90s when Marvel declared bankruptcy. He's mostly been teaching college since then. Silverline has it's roots in the late 80s when Roland partnered with his friend, roommate, and artist Steven Butler to start Silverline.
Dual Campaign
The first two issues were funded on Kickstarter. We are running a similar campaign there with the same basic product. So while we'd love to see dual pledges, we want to be fully transparent that if you're just trying to support us (we THANK YOU!), you don't really need to back on both places.

Risks & Challenges
Silverline has run and fulfilled 12 campaigns on kickstarter. We know how to make and ship comics. Our biggest risk is coming to IGG and totally flopping, because our biggest challenge will be getting the word out that we're here.

Other Ways You Can Help
Share the heck out of this. This is Silverline's first venture onto IGG and we really believe the COMIC FANS AND READERS will enjoy our comics.
