Rob Cowles

Many know and love Rob and now we have a chance to put that love into a specific action.  Rob was my first youth pastor, I see the man almost every week and he still have a significant impact on my life.  He has dedicated his life to that care taking of others and I believe he deserves one thing that I know provides him with a little clarity and oddly enough sanity...That thing is flying down some asphalt on two wheels on his Harley.  Rob and I have taken many motorcycle trips together, we always end up talking about life and return with a little more insight into our everyday situations.  Very recently Rob has decided to start a church of his own in Fort Collins.  I learned that because of this, he is going to sell his beloved motorcycle to help fund and get the church going.  I know that his Harley 883 represents a small amount of freedom and it allows him a bit of time to get his thoughts worked out.  Rob needs this bike and the guys that ride with him, need him on the road with them as well.  I am proposing that we secretly raise these funds, I am going to pretend that I am going to buy his bike for myself, ride it away, and ideally I would like to drive back around the block grab the posse of contributors (on motorcycles (if you have them) and bring back Rob's bike to him.  All the money raised from this will go directly to Rob Cowles and his family.  This campaign  only takes 4% if we reach our goal, that's $240.  So $6,000 - $240 = $5760 straight to the Cowles family.  Usually with these campaigns you get some sort of tangible reward, on this one however you will receive the gratitude of the Cowles family and a pastor that can happily make his yearly trip to Sturgis!  Please spread the word, but remember to keep the fundraising a secret.
