Hi my name is Jessica Rees and I am currently studying photography, media studies and English literature and language at college.

As part of my education and life experiences, next July I am off to Kenya to  work with children in deprived areas. I will help out in the school and community hopefully bringing a smile to the children's faces, and a chance of helping their education.

Personally, helping children has always inspired me, and I hope that when I return from Kenya aged 17, I am in a position to further develop my charitable work whilst continuing my education at University.

The reason I have set up this page is that the cost of the flights and accommodation need to be met, and that this project will also teach me some key skills in not only raising funds but in myself undertaking challenges to understand and appreciate that my short term pain is irrelevant compared to the challenges African children go through their whole lives.

Your generous support of my campaign will have and international effect...from small babies and children through to personal support of my ambitions.

I don't want to go to Kenya empty handed, so it's Biro and crayon time....to us these are pure consumables but to children in Africa these actually helps them write, draw, and express themselves. These children appreciate their limited education!

Please help and share my link.
