Also, as a musician and songwriter, it is important to have access to your instrument for when inspiration hits or a song is being birthed in your heart. As of right now, I have no instrument of my own to fully work on all the songs and ideas I have had. It can be quite frustrating to have a spark of inspiration and then no outlet for the spark to breathe. Therefore, the spark is snuffed out!
Here is a link to the info about it:
I thought it more wise to go with a bundle package, seeing that I would be getting more for the money than just a keyboard.
Remember, even the smallest amount helps!
Now you may be wondering, "If the bundle price for the keyboard (before taxes) is $2,619.95, why is the goal amount $4,000?"
The remaining goal amount will be given to The Transformation Initiative. This is a cause and an organization very near and dear to my heart. The two women who run this organization (Joy Collins and Clara Wiggins) are amazing and are truly walking out the message and heart of Christ! Here is a little about them:
TTI is a non-profit (501C3) organization which partners with local organizations in Kenya that work mostly with people affected by AIDS. They help support a feeding program that provides a meal a day for over 40 kids. A typical meal at the center would include beans and rice, ugali and vegetables or Silverfish and Cabbage. For many of the kids, it's the only meal they get each day.
They provide uniforms, shoes and school supplies for children so that they can go to school. In Kenya, primary education is free. However, children cannot attend unless they have a uniform, shoes and school supplies.
They also give away free solar flashlights. Most of the people they work with are living without electricity. The lights they distribute often serve as the only light source for the home.
