Synopsis
Doug can’t catch a break, with big dreams of becoming a chef slowly looking dim and an eviction notice deeming him and his companion dog, Max, homeless if he doesn’t find one soon. The Team
Co-Producer: Meg McLaughlin
Hi I’m Meg and I’m co-producing this production. I’ve had previous experience producing a television commercial otherwise most of my other work has been in editing and directing. I’m excited to be producing my first short alongside Harry and with a great team behind us I can assure you Keys will be fantastic and entertaining. Everyone can relate to trying to find something you need urgently and in the chaos of it all you never thought to check the simplest places.
Co-Producer and Director of Photography: Harrison Witherspoon
Hi, I’m the Co-Producer on Keys as well as the Director of Photography. My background in work is a bit of everything, I love involving myself in projects that are not only fun to watch but to create as well. This project is one that I’d consider a passion project as I will be working along colleagues and friends throughout. Keys really hits home as I’m sure it does with a lot of you, providing a positive story is something that is quiet niche in indie films today, and that’s a big motivation to make this film the best it can possibly be.
Editor: Brandon Anderson
2 years prior experience working alongside this film crew, 8+ years of editing experience. Predominantly worked on Music and Dance videos but have recently delved into short films. Given my history with this team, I feel that we will ace the production of it and editing will be a complete breeze.
Production Designer: Kendra Tomlinson
Hi, my name is Kendra Tomlinson. I’m a student at JMC with Danyon and the crew. I’ve worked with this crew before on a previous film, ‘Shannon’. Danyon an amazing director with an astounding spirit and unending love for filmmaking. I’ve also worked on short films throughout my short career, including ‘The Locket’ and other short commercials and music videos. I’m currently the production designer on the film ‘Keys’. I love designing sets and costuming, it gives me great joy to know that I’ve put my creative mark on this amazing film.
Sound Designer and Recordist: Aaron Monshing
I’m Aaron, I will be coming onto the crew of Keys as Sound Designer and Sound Recordist. I have worked on many Short Films, Festival entries, and Features in a variety of roles within the Sound Department. Working with Audio is for me is always fun endeavour as it allows me to further express myself in the form of sound. Keys will be very dependent on the mood created in Post Sound, bringing attention to small moments that are intended to bring the most emotive impact throughout the story. For me in any project I’m on it’s always about making the story shine!
