About our campaign
There are few things worse than being
bullied. And for kids today, bullying doesn’t stop at the playground. It’s
non-stop, hitting them wherever they are through their phone and numerous
social networks, 24 hours a day.
Watching celebrities’ read the mean things
people say about them online is meant to be funny, but it’s a very different
story when it happens to kids. And unfortunately, over 50% of adolescents have
admitted to being a victim of cyberbullying. So we made a video to remind the
world that cyberbullying is no joke. It’s a serious issue that we want everyone
talking about. And that’s where you come in.
By donating, you’ll be helping us spread
this important message.
Short Summary
The Canadian Safe School Network is a not
for profit organization dedicated to reducing
youth violence and making our schools and communities safer.
Many talented people from Canada’s advertising and film
community, including over 40 passionate young actors, have already donated
their time and skills to make a great short video that will help bring greater
awareness to this growing epidemic.
But now we need your help. We’re raising money so we can
purchase media to help get this message to as many people as possible.
What We Need & What You Get
Our immediate goal is to raise $10,000 so 10
million people will see our message. But that’s just the beginning.
A $5 donation lets us show the video 1,000 times.
And you’ll be listed as a contributor on our website. $20 gets 4,000 more
people to
see it. $100 gets 20,000 more people to see it. And so on.
And $1,000 not only lets us show the video
200,000 times. We’ll also add your company or brand’s logo to our website,
making your company an official sponsor.
If you can’t contribute financially, you
can still help. Just share this Indiegogo link to your friends and family. Or
share the video through your social channels so more people can get the message
that cyberbullying is no joke.
