"Kill Count" is a short film, made by students. Despite being a student film, it will be treated as a professional independent set. Our short will be shot professionally with industry standard equipment, made by an equally dedicated cast and crew. Many of the crew and cast in this film are in their final years of the C.M.F. Program at the University of Windsor. We need you to help us pay for expenses like; catering, art department, and production expenses. AND there are perks for all donations.
Kill Count
Kill Count - Kill Count is a dark comedy that will follow two student roommates, Lucy and Austin, who are harboring secrets from each other. The short mockumentary will be filmed in the same spirit as the shows Modern Family, The Office and the film What we do in the Shadows.
Bios
Katie Grabauskus, Director
Katie Grabauskas is the writer and director of the short film Kill Count. She is in her final year of university studying a double major in Film and Visual Arts. Additionally, she works full time in the summer as the Media Director and Videographer at Arrowhead Camp in Muskoka, Ontario. She has taken part on numerous fiction short films usually as Director or Director of Photography. However, her two passions lie in documentary film and comedy. She plans to pursue a Master’s in Film Production in hopes of creating inspiring and thought provoking documentaries, as well as eventually becoming a film professor.

Both of our leads for the film and the majority of the supporting cast are either students at the University of Windsor or local talent.

Funding For Kill Count
- We have a flexible goal of 1000$. This money will be directly used to help pay for catering (Craft Services), Art Direction for the set, and for any unexpected production fees.
- We have plenty of great perks for people that participate in helping us reach our goal from receiving a digital copy of the film to getting your name in the credits as an Executive Producer.
