"Kings" is...
An ambitious short film set in the Appalachian wilderness. It is a story of compassion and companionship, murder and mental-illness. "Kings" explores the relationship between two long-time nomadic homeless and asks its audience a simple question:
What do you have to gain when you have nothing left to lose?
"Kings" is a jarring examination of the challenges of the less fortunate among us. The film is a cautionary tale of what can happen when you try to alter someone's fate.
The story will be filmed in early February in the wilderness on Palomar Mountain near Temecula, California.
