WHAT THIS MEANS TO US
The sixteen short films that will be shown at the Genesis demonstrate the rich and diverse forms of filmmaking present at Kingston.
The total needed to book a 5 hour slot at the cinema is £1,300. This is a professional cinema and will be the first time for many of us that our work is being shown on the big screen. It is an opportunity for professional people in the industry to come and view our work, and could open doors for a lot of us.
All the hard work we have put into our 3 (up to 4!) years here at Kingston culminates in these sixteen graduation productions and so we feel this deserves to be shown on the big screen for an even bigger audience to share.

We will show how the nightlife, that is perceived badly by the local population, brings these young artists together.

TALKING TELEVISIONS (WORKING TITLE)
This film takes place in the caravan of an elderly man who likes to repair old televisions. The main focus of the film, however, will be about the TV sets themselves; for these come to life at night. We aim to explore the ideas of obsolesce through making this film.
