1) What makes KIWI P1 different?
P1 is a perfect design for everyone! Unlike other LDM (Laser Distance Meter), one of the key features of P1 is “one-button control”, which makes it much easier to use.
We have also created the “10S auto fetch” function, which allows you to measure any object without reflective surface.
Another cool feature is that P1 also measures body height, no matter big or small!
Measure can now be so simple with P1.
2) How do I use KIWI P1 to measure distance when the wall or target objects are transparent?
Generally, the laser beam goes through the transparent objects. Therefore, we suggest that you use a non-transparent objects, e.g. paper, place it in front of the transparent objects to help measure.
3) What’s the warranty policy for KIWI P1?

4) Does the laser beam harm human skin or eyes?
P1 is classified as Class II diode lasers, which powers less than 1 mW. Most of the laser measuring tools made by other brands are also classified as Class II.
A Class II laser is considered to be safe for skin because the blink reflex (glare aversion response to bright lights) will limit the exposure to no more than 0.25 seconds.
Intentional suppression of the blink reflex could lead to eye injury. P1 is not for use by children without adult supervision. Please keep away from children and pets.
5) What type of batteries the product operates on?
To use KIWI P1 you will need 2 standard triple-A batteries, which will provide you with up to 5 hours of continuous usage.

The prototype units are 100% fully functional, the first batch production of 200 pcs is already finished, from sourcing to part manufacturing, we have tried different suppliers, and now come up with those reliable and stable one we are working with right now. our main job now is to improve the structure designing and yield improvement.
