In order to deliver exceptional patient care, Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, Physician Assistants, Nurse practitioners -- in fact, all health care providers-- need to have the right tools at arm’s reach at the time of examination. More often than not, even the most basic tools such as a Penlight or a Reflex Hammer are out of sight when they are needed most!
Instead of searching, imagine having everything you need in your
coat pocket. Even better, picture it all together on one sleek tool,
cost of which can be claimed as professional expense.

The Klinicks Multi Tool, developed by Dr. Srinivasu Kesa, a physician in Carmel, Indiana, makes it possible.
“We came up with the Klinicks Multitool for healthcare professionals to solve the problem of carrying too many devices in your pocket” said Dr.Kesa. “I have been using the prototype for the last two months every day, and I do not have to go out of the room looking for a penlight, EKG caliper or reflex hammer” he said. “I no longer have to stop the patient interview to go and look for them, so it's a big time saver” he added.
The Klinicks Multi Tool is a Penlight, Reflex Hammer, EKG Caliper, Glasgow Coma Scale and Pupil Gauge all in one convenient package that fits right in your coat pocket.

Our Story
![]()
My name is Dr. Srinivasu Kesa. I am a physician and entrepreneur based in Carmel, Indiana. I am a physician by profession and my other passion is entrepreneurship. Many months ago, I had an idea for improving the clinical examinations of patients. At that time, I noticed most health care professionals are not equipped properly to perform a complete and thorough physical examination of a patient. Most only carry a stethoscope-- very few carry a penlight. Even fewer carry an EKG caliper and almost none have a reflex hammer on hand. Most of the time, pupil sizes and GCS are only good approximations.
Doctors and nurses don’t have most of these tools on hand for a good reason. All devices are small, cumbersome and in some cases, sharp. By not having these vital tools on hand, the quality of a patient’s clinical examination is most certainly affected. A physician using piece of paper to check the regularity of an EKG rhythm may miss atrial fibrillation or a Medic by merely guessing a Pupil size can interpret patients condition inaccurately. Both above situations can seriously impact the quality of care provided to a patient.
My idea was to create a tool which is small, sleek, and durable, while including all the vital tools a physician needs and conveniently fitting in coat or shirt pocket. As I started to develop this tool, I made every mistake imaginable, costing me time and money. At that point, I had two options: give up or find a trustworthy and a reliable company to make this idea a reality. I am certainly glad I chose the second option.
A Fort Wayne, Indiana based firm helped me develop this product. Starting from scratch, we worked for a year to create the product you see before you. While I am endlessly proud of the Klinicks Multi-tool, I am equally gratified with the personal growth I have experienced throughout this process. That alone makes this venture a resounding success.
