About The Film
Knock 'Em Dead is a comedic tale written by Robert Cuevas, and directed by Dominic Brown. This story follows Jim Pater, a mortician's assistant and his hopes of becoming a comedian.
Knock 'Em Dead at its very core is a story revolving around Jim, the mortician's assistant. Jim, like most people, has a boss named Mr. Koch. He just happens to be his "biggest" fan. Aside from Jim's average mortician life, he does stand up comedy -- kind of. The local comedy club in town, The Grin Joint, is where Jim attempts to channel his inner Laurel & Hardy. Nothing spectacular, right? Wrong. You guys don't think Jim is funny, but just you wait. He'll prove you wrong.

Your Support
"As seniors in the Creative Media Institute (CMI), we must prove that we are worthy of the title "Filmmaker" by creating one final project. This is not just a final project as we graduate, but it is a milestone, it is our legacy.
Your financial support for this project will help achieve a dream that all CMI students share, the dream of entering the film industry.
We want the film community to recognize our work and get to know our name. As artists, nothing means more to us than sharing our craft with the world and we cannot do that without your support. Thank you in advance for your support whether it be moral or financial."
--Dominic Brown, Director
"As the producer, it's my job to lead this crew into the trenches of an unrealized project and help them bring it to life. Through this process the word 'crew' falls away and the word 'family' arises. We aren't just a crew anymore. We're family. You're aren't just supporting a bunch of students and their hobby, but a family's dream of creating something beautiful and sharing it with the community." --Stacey Clayshulte, Producer
"We can't stress enough how much we appreciate your help." --Josh Reyes, Director of Photography
