We're making a movie - a short film, in fact. The story is very special to us and we know it'll touch you deeply. It's about the parent-child relationship, truth and love, and the essence that connects us from one generation to the next.
L'Dor V'Dor (Hebrew for From Generation to Generation) is about a father and a son. The father fears his son is losing his religious identity. The son feels his father has lost touch with the modern world and wants him to adapt. As both plead their cases to one another, they experience a moment that changes their relationship forever.
To make this movie, we really need your help.

Our passion is making movies. We want to create something specific - a reflection of where we're at artistically and emotionally; a film that sparks discourse and gives you all the feels. We want to offer a film where you'll see yourself in the characters, regardless of age, gender, or ethnicity. We want to erase the line between comedy and drama, between a narrative and an experience. Lofty, we know. But that's why we make movies - to honour the past by experimenting our way into the future. We're compelled to tell new stories.
L'Dor V'Dor's aesthetic is inspired by artists like Chantel Akerman, Paweł Pawlikowski, Ingmar Bergman, Mel Brooks, Philip Roth, Alan Watts, John Coltrane, John Cassavettes and Jill Soloway.
Did we tell you that our last film just finished a long festival run and had its world premiere at Palm Springs International Film Fest? Do you want to see the trailer?!

It's kinda crazy how expensive it is to make a film, even on the tightest of budgets, like this one. We want to achieve something special with a cast and crew who are incredibly talented. With your support, we know we can do it. We're asking for $12,500 which JUST covers our costs. What are the costs, you ask? Below is where the funds will be going:![]()
