Imagine children 6-12 years old playing violin, viola, cello and bass in a children's orchestra at world-renowned Carnegie Hall in New York.
Imagine this same group coming away with highest honors as well as setting a world-record for the "Youngest Orchestra Ever to to Perform at Carnegie Hall!"
This is exactly what happened in 2009 and with your help, it can happen again this year!
We are seeking your financial support to help these talented, hard-working kids - the Los Angeles Children's Orchestra - get to Carnegie Hall in April, 2013.
As you might imagine, the cost of sending 61 young children and their instruments is substantial - the cost of shipping the cello's alone exceeds $10,000!
In all, we are seeking to raise a total of $15,000 to make this trip happen for these worthy young children. Your gift of support will make a huge difference in the lives and futures of our performers.
To see children heading on a great path using their ability, determination, patience and diligence is always rewarding. To help these kids achieve a trip to Carnegie Hall to compete with the best is a rare opportunity. Won't you please help acknowldege the hard work and discipline these children have shown and help their dream come true?
Thank you very much for your support!
