About the Film
Your wedding day is meant to be one of the happiest days of your life... so why is Melanie at the wheel of a car, distraught and seemingly fleeing her special day? La Gazza ('the mapgie' in Italian) is the story of a superstitious bride and what happens when her wedding day goes awry. For more info see 33films.co.uk.
What We Need & What You Get
We've done the hard work to get the film shot, edited, mixed and graded but that's only half the story. With your funds and support we can get the film out there to film festivals and other events and build some momentum behind getting the film seen by audiences.
- Chip in a small amount and we'll give you a shout out.
- Give a bit more and secure a strictly limited special edition DVD
- Take the step up and get your name in the credits and on IMDB.
The Impact
We've really gone for it with this project. We're lucky to have secured a great cast and crew and we believe the production quality we've achieved will make it a perfect fit for local and intenational short film events. Your funding will really put the icing on the cake:
- Film festival submission fees are expensive and your funding will primarily go towards entering the film in as many high-profile events as we can afford.
- Some of the funds will go towards producing a high-quality special edition DVD to say thanks.
- If we get officially selected we'd love to attend these events and the costs all stack up pretty quickly. You'll enable us to go along and really help showcase the film.
