The Fisher House is an Air Force wide non-profit that serves as a home-away-from-home for many veterans and their families receiving medical care in the local area. Families come from all over and stay as long as they need to for their care, for free. About 18% of these are children. Whether receiving care or supporting their family member, these children are away from home without many of their comforts. I am holding this fundraiser to raise $1000 to get books for the children who will be staying at the Fisher House this summer. With $1000 in donations, Usborne Books and More will match our donation by 50%! That will give us an amazing $1500 in books to donate!
