Savage Beast Films is currently seeking contributions for our independent feature film entitled Lake Eerie. It is a Horror Sci-Fi production, with an original and unique story line. The direction for Lake Eerie is inspired by classic horror films, such as The Shinning and Rosemary's Baby. We are set to shoot early Fall 2013 in LaSalle, Michigan for 21 days of principle photography.
We need to raise additional funds ($81,000) to make this film the best it can be. We have an A-List Cast with the Director of Photography from Insidious!! This is your one chance to get involved with a quality feature film with big names attached! We have the Special FX Team who gave you Army of Darkness, Scream, Wes Craven's New Nightmare, and From Dusk til Dawn amongst others!! Your name can be attached to this amazing film!

Summing it up without giving too much away:
Lake Eerie is a combination of classic Hollywood horror movies (Hitchcock) mixed with elements of Stephen King, Insidious, The Mummy, and Rosemary's Baby.
Synopsis:
A young widow (Kate) moves into an old house on Lake Erie to recover from her husband's sudden and traumatic death. The lake house has not been lived in for over 40 years. The previous owner (Harrison) was a grand archaeologist and explorer (similar to an Indiana Jones character). The house is just as Harrison left it in 1969. From the moment Kate moves into the house, she is soon haunted by a dark presence. Kate is taking multiple pills/ medications for her anxiety and depression; therefore, she is not sure if she is losing her mind or if the haunting is really happening.
Kate befriends an old lady (Eliza), who lives down the street. Eliza informs Kate about Harrison (who was young and handsome); and that his death was a mystery, but that he was on the verge of a grand discovery revolving around an Egyptian locket. Kate soon meets Eliza's intelligent grand daughter (Autumn), who studied at Oxford University. Autumn has studied Harrison's research, and is a huge fan of his work from back in the 50's and 60's. Autumn searches through Harrison's artifacts and notes to discover that the Egyptian locket was created with black magic by ancient Heka priests.
Kate is suddenly enveloped by a whirlwind of tragedy and dark forces, and must decide whether or not she is strong enough to fight back and figure out the evil truth before it's too late.
