Welcome to Laugh - The Motion Picture's official Indiegogo Pre-Launch Campaign.  I am Peter Anthony, the CEO of Peter Anthony Productions and this is the first of 2 campaigns to help fund this monumental motion picture.  This is an absolute dream project for the entire cast & crew.  We truly believe we have assembled a special team.  Our goal?  Making our mark on the indie film industry.  How?  With the help of the best fans in the world.  Horror fans.  Period.

   Laugh is a psychological in your face thriller bringing you face to face with the dark side of the human condition.  Life brings us many things including great loss, pain and the ability to overcome ones demons.. Literally.  Along with stunning visuals, camera work, award winning sound & composing, this film will immerse you deep into the twisted mind of Peter Collymore.  The scariest thing in the world is your own self doubt.  A man with nothing to lose is the most dangerous creature of all.  Some times all we need to save ourselves is... one... good ..Laugh.

Follow several story lines that wind, weave & eventually twist together in this relentless, brutal storyline.  Follow Peter Collymore (Peter Anthony), a decorated Afghanistan war hero who's perfect life on paper is slowly unravelling into a nightmare.  We follow Collymore down this visual decent into madness as he struggles with the loss of loved ones, his fractured relationship with his father (Terry Kiser), a contentious love story, his constant debate with his inner worth, his goal of becoming the best actor in the world & literally a demonic entity named Calypso (Jon A Ravenholt).  Can Peter overcome life's hardest challenges to enact the revenge he so desperately needs?  Will Calypso's puppeteering turn Peter into a marionette of death?  Or can he muster one last good deed to save himself and finally be able to... laugh.

Terry Kiser as Colonel Collymore:  Terry is a 60+ year acting veteran with roles in such blockbusters as Weekend at Bernie's & Friday The 13th Part VII.  He is an excellent character actor where he perfected his craft at The Actors Studio under Lee Strasberg.  We are honored to have Terry as the troubled retired "Colonel Collymore".  A Vietnam war hero who has brought back his literal demon back to the real world.  The Colonel holds a dark secret that has been eating at his soul for decades.  In order to deal with this demon the once dignified Army Ranger has been reduced to a lonely old man with substance issues.

Jon A Ravenholt as Calypso:  Jon is a veteran character actor with various movie and theater credits to his name.   You might recognize Jon as Frank Castille from "Friday The 13th - Vengeance", The Scarecrow in "The Boy I Left Behind" and Gregory Lynch in "Cursed".  Jon's portrayal of Calypso, a demonic entity in Laugh is breath taking.  Audiences will be taken back by the one of kind character Jon has crafted in this film. 

Sanae Loutsis as Sani Inaba:  Sanae Loutsis started acting and modeling when she was 4 years old. At age 6 she did her first film Next (2015) where she played herself (an aspiring actress trying to get to LA). Since then she has been in miscellaneous print adds, commercials, music videos and an episode on Discovery ID - Evil in Law. Sanae was cast as Isabella in the Feature Film The Black String, Sanae was cast as Nina (lead) in a new Horror Feature Film Beloved Beast (2018), Her latest Feature Film The Parish (2019) where she plays one of the leads, starring Angela DiMarco and Bill Oberst Jr.  Sanae was cast as Ashley Jarvis (lead) in the film Friday the 13th: Vengeance also staring Steve Dash and C.J. Graham that was released in 2019. In 2021 Sanae was cast as Rose (lead) in the Friday The 13 Film, Rose Blood.  She was cast to reprise her role as Ashley Jarvis (lead) in Vengeance 2 Bloodlines.  Sanae has been cast as Sani Inaba.   Sani is the step daughter of the main antagonist in Laugh.  She becomes a vessel for all to see just how bad a beloved movie star really is.  She sacrifices it ALL to bring truth, and justice to the world on the biggest stage. 

Peter Anthony as Peter Collymore:   Peter Anthony is an up & coming New Haven, CT based actor.  He has won several awards in his short time including "Best Supporting Actor" for his role as James Dier in The Fall of Camp Blood.   He then brought us his high strung, easy to hate, rendition of General Brackbower in Rose Blood.   He is looking to expand his horizons even more with the complicated Peter Collymore in Laugh.   Collymore is also a decorated war hero like his father.  Also, Like his father,  he has some demons in his past in which he can't seem to shake.  Will Peter overcome all of his personal issues, skeletons, obstacles, his father and most importantly, his nemesis to become the best?      

Peter Anthony Productions was founded in 2017.  It's goal has always been to deliver high quality work for and with true fans of indie films.  We know who our base is and we love it.  We incorporate fans, donate to charities, and reward our donors.  Peter Anthony Productions splashed into the horror scene with highly successful films such as Friday The 13th Vengeance,  Rose Blood, Vengeance 2 - Bloodlines and The Fall of Camp Blood.  Combined these films have almost 5 Million Views.   Charites - In Partnership with Real Fiction Studios & STL Productions we have given close to $50,000 to charitable organizations.  Including:  The Trevor Project, The Shriners Children's Hospital,  Wounded Warriors and more. 

Schedule:  We have scheduled 5 shooting days in Connecticut to complete several major scenes in the film.  Not only will this cover the 5 days of the total 19 but we will be able to generate a proficient, high quality teaser that will we will be proud to share with the world.  The Teaser will include several scenes including The Club Scene, Bathroom Incident, Father Knows Best, Calypso's Deception & The Russian Prisoner.  Fans can actually be part of some of these on the campaign.  Hence why we wanted to have a Pre launch first to involve them.

Christoper Inlow as Ivan Korshanov:  Award winning character actor Christopher Inlow plays the Siberian Russian inmate - Ivan Korshanov.   Ivan is our first insight into the demonic entity Calypso.  His sad story is the first introduction to the power of the evil clown.  Ivan sits in a Siberian secret prison in the 1950's hell hole.  Be prepared for one of the darkest characters in the film.

Jequient Broaden as Judas:

Shawn Loutsis - Executive Producer:  Shawn Loutsis has been executive producer on several successful films such as the multiple Emmy Award winning series "After Forever" winning 17 total awards.  He has been instrumental in the success and notoriety of the Friday The 13th Fan Films such as Friday The 13th Vengeance, Vengeance 2 - Bloodlines, Rose Blood & the Fall of Camp Blood. 

Shawn has also worked on several other projects such as The Parish, The Black String and the upcoming Kill Craft.  Shawn's expertise in construction and set designs are just some of the many things that have made him such a valuable producer in the indie film world today.

 Peter Anthony - Director:  Peter made his directorial debut with the award winning Rose Blood.  Featuring Lar Park Lincoln, Terry Kiser, Kevin Spirtas, Todd Jenkins, Sanae Loutsis and many more.  Hailing from New Haven, Connecticut,  Peter Produced, Directed, Wrote and starred in the film.  His has been honing his skills after helping with the success of such films as Friday The 13th Vengeance, The Fall of Camp Blood, Vengeance 2 - Bloodlines, he also produced the riveting documentary Steve Dash - Husband, Father, Grandfather.

Steve Barton - Co-Producer:  Steve Barton is a very well known Producer, Promoter and public figure in the horror community.  His work ethic and savvy is only outdone by his loving nature.  Steve broke all the rules by kicking in the doors of horror with the global phenomenon Terrifier 2, in which he was an Executive Producer.  Steve is also the Co-founder and editor in chief for Dread Central.  We are honored to have Steve on the team as his role is pivotal in getting the world to see the story that is Laugh. 

Real Fiction Studios:  Jason Brooks is an actor, director, and special FX artist from the Pacific Northwest.  Working in Independent film since 2003, in addition to his appearance in Friday the 13th Vengeance 2 Bloodlines, which Jason also wrote and directed, he created and led the award-winning special FX that set the movie apart from all those before it.

With the success of Bloodlines, Jason partnered with makeup and FX artists Naomi Mechem-Miller and Michelle Munoz to create the Real Fiction Studios FX team.  In just a short time, Real Fiction Studios FX went on to win numerous awards for their makeup, special FX, and prosthetics leading to dozens of feature films, shorts, commercials, music videos, and events within the first year as a team becoming one of the biggest and best makeup and special FX companies in the PNW.

Kody Newton:  Kody Newton is an award winning director/writer/cinematographer from Boise Idaho.  Recently he has worked on 2:59, Vengeance 2 - Bloodlines and The Chosen TV series.  Kody is on a crash course of creation as he pursues his dream of producing and directing feature films. 

Josh Hone:  Josh Hone is a Salt Lake City sound mixer who’s had the privilege of working with great talent such as Wilem Defoe (Gonzo Girl), Tom Pelfrey (American Murderer), Ryan Phillipe (American Murderer), Steven Tobolowski (Haul out the Holly) and Kevin Nealon (Sister Swap). 

   Our team is proud to announce that we have been honored with over 100 national and internal awards for our indie films.  From best Director, Best Film, Best Producer and many more.  Our goal is to constantly improve the product.  However, Our favorite awards by far are the fan voted ones. In which we have a dozen.  In appreciation to all the fans that support us, Our team has donated over $50,000 to various Charites & children over the past 5 years.

   Our Goal:  Although the goal is $25,000 we would love to achieve more than that with your help.  As in prior projects 100% of the campaign funds and more are directly used into the Make Up FX, Prosthetics, Costumes, Locations, Actors etc.  The more we achieve together the greater this film will be for us all.  All of our success is 100% the result of the generous loyal fans we have accumulated over the years.  Many have become our good friends.  We are looking forward to continuing that successful relationship with the fans once again for Laugh.  Thank you!

Jason Brooks as Malice:  The "Immortal" Jason Brooks has also joined the cast of Laugh.  Jason is infamous for his various portrayals of Jason Voorhees in 5 separate films.  Considered by most as the best Jason since the movie's, he brings his expertise onto the set as Malice.  Malice is a representation of the devil in a play called "The Void" in the club scene. 

Jessica Hottman as Saphirra:  The talented Jessica Hottman plays the musically talented 

Amy Cote as The Dark Princess:  Amy Cote is a talented, upcoming actress from North Carolina.  She has been in such films as The Grind, You're It, Vengeance 2 - Blood Lines and several more.   She lands the role of "The Dark Princess" for the play inside the club scene called "The Void".  We are looking forward to Amy's stunning visual performance as that character.
