Coming out can be scary, so don’t just come out, POP OUT!
Let Me Out celebrates the journey of coming out, with the story following our main character who confronts those internal fears that manifest inside the closet, before finding self-acceptance and embracing their truth.
Everyone has their own story to tell. For me, coming out was a struggle that I now embrace wholeheartedly as an out and proud gay creative. I want Let Me Out to be a resource for children and adults alike, helping us embrace all the doubts, fears, and anxieties that we hide behind closet doors.
It is time to pop-out of that closet and embrace who we are meant to be, because being different is what makes you unique.
What to expect with Let Me Out?

Coming out is, well… scary, and we wanted Let Me Out’s artwork to acknowledge that. We also want to pay homage to our favourite gay icon – the BABADOOK, a horror movie character who was hilariously adopted by the LGBTQ+ community in 2017.

We promise Let Me Out is not all scary – the book quickly goes from creepy to KIKI once those closet doors are opened, and that’s when the pop-out party begins!
Let Me Out is a celebration of embracing your truth, and anyone can take that message away from this book - regardless of who you are or who you love.
Why a Pop Up?
Why not?!
Coming out isn’t one dimensional, so our book isn’t either. In today’s political and social climate, it’s our duty to resist, stand out and be heard- and what better way to cultivate confidence than with positive messaging that physically leaps from the pages of Let Me Out.
What exactly is hiding inside that closet? Well, you will have to purchase Let Me Out to find out, but trust us – this reveal will leave you GAGGING!
The perfect resource to celebrate You Being You!
Whether you want to remember what coming out meant to you, or share our book with someone who’s struggling with their own journey, Let Me Out is an LGBTQ+ positive resource in a world where such resources are few and far between.
We’re hoping to schedule our first run of prints to coincide with National Coming Out Day in October, so let us come out of our closet and directly into your esteemed book collection!
