We created
Life Recovery Solutions and our Life Connect App because too many people are dying
from addiction and too many families are being destroyed. Unfortunately, 80% of those
who are able to get treatment relapse in the first year, many relapse over and
over. The problem is getting worse, with 2.8 million new addicts every
year and 27% of teens use drugs regularly.
For me it is personal, my brother died at 37 from drugs and alcohol and my
nephew was 39. If we can reach 2% of the addicts we can save 600,000
lives and countless families.
We are asking you to be part of the solution by helping us create an app to
help those struggling with addiction to stay clean and sober. This app gives them a
fighting chance.
The Problem
In the United States the cost of addiction is $524 billion and we have 30 million addicts. The cost of in-patient treatment averages $15,000 and many go through treatment 6 or 7 times and some never find sobriety. The
difficulty for those coming out of treatment is staying on the right path and
connected to those who care about them most.
Sadly, many end up returning to the same people and places where their
troubles originated and the old issues and habits come right back.
Statistics
-
30 Million Addicts
-
14.8 million with Mental Illness
-
7.7 million suffering with PTSD
-

Every dime we receive through this campaign will be put back into the company to enhance our tools so that we will be able to reach more people and save more lives. It is our mission to transform as many families and lives as we can. Imagine this... There are 30 million addict in the United States and if we can impact 2%, that is 600,000 lives and countless family members.
Life Recovery Solutions has a unique approach to reducing the
relapse rate and saving lives. Our
app, Life Connect, helps them change their behavior, keeps them connected with those who care about
them the most and focused on their future. Life Connect is designed to disrupt old
triggers and cues and replace them with new positive habits. The Life Connect tools are integrated with
Zoey, our Virtual Health Assistant, and she provides ongoing encouragement and
feedback, while assigning the client new tasks throughout the
day. This disrupts the old thinking and
creates new positive patterns. Family,
friends and professionals can view the client’s moods, activities, and receive
alerts from Zoey when necessary.
The recovery centers and probation offices who use the Life Connect to stay connected with their clients 24/7,
automate simple tasks for the client and better manage their caseload. This reduces the workload for each counselor
or officer, enabling them to be more efficient and service their clients more
effectively.
The centers provide these tools to their clients who use Life
Connect to stay healthy and on track with their recovery.
