I founded MMORE in 2015 because I wanted to make something different and unique. Function and even style were simply not enough anymore. In 2018. we unveiled our Organika collection, the worlds first experience and scent of nature on a phone case and now we are presenting a way to own a piece of world renown history.

Venice is facing a crisis! Because the city is standing on water it's future is uncertain because of climate change and rising sea levels. The city is completely flooded numerous times a year and only increasing in number.

An opportunity came by that we could use the material from the ancient discarded oak stakes used for foundations in Venice because they were not suitable anymore. Over time the ancient oak stakes that were exposed above sea level began to rot because microorganisms need oxygen to multiply. Instead of being thrown away we found a new way to use them. Over five centuries of sea water made their structure like no other and it is truly a sight to behold once held in hend.

It was perfect, it was sustainable, it was a chance to find new purpose for a piece of history and bring it to the world.

By making veneer from the unusable ancient oak stakes we can prepare it for precision laser cutting and engraving to be applied on a protective TPU frame to fully protect your phone against any accidents in style and grace. With a hand-oiled finish, the wood comes alive glowing with days past, because salt water and time made its structure like no other wood.

We need your help through crowdfunding to make the Venice case a reality. Sustainability is at the core of MMORE so we will offer either a Ø-plastic packing option or a retail gift packing option from kraft paper and hemp rope.
What about the plastic frame? No worries, it is made from a certified non-toxic production and we also have a recycling program set up, so everything we make we can also recycle responsibly to lower our footprint. 1.) First we harvest the Ancient oak stakes that are planned for replacement.
2.) Top quality veneer is made out of the log-shaped stakes.
3.) The veneer has to be sanded and properly prepared for cutting and engraving on a CNC laser
4.) The cut veneer is hand oiled 3 times for the beautiful silky look and protection against water
5.) Then it is applied to the case frame and packed (also with a small gift for all supporters)

We have been developing and perfecting the process of using the Venice wood for more than a year now and to be completely honest the only limitation is the availability of the material. We perfected all other production processes and every other aspect now it comes down to your support for us to be able to harvest the stakes. We cannot put an exact number to it how many we have available, but we will make sure that we deliver all pledges in a timely manner with SHIPPING STARTING BEGINNING OF AUGUST!
