With the LIPSKIT 2.0, you can make and store up to 5 colors in the cute reusable pots at any point in time. You can make as much as you want or as little as you want. If you don't like the color you make, the app will tell you how to tweak it to your liking by simply adding a few drops of another base color. Because you have total control over the pumps, you can literally free-wheel and have hours and hours of fun experimenting with different looks. And yes, you can carry the reusable pots with you in your purse for all day touch-ups.

We envision a world where our passion for makeup doesn't cost us the earth. Current ways of consumption are leading us to a point of no return and if we want to slow down our approach to the tipping point, we must make changes to our behavior now.      

It is estimated that almost 9 out of 10 makeup products sold are wasted every year! And that is because that one lipstick you bought to perfectly match that blue outfit did not get used more than 3 times over its usable life. 

While recyclable and compostable packaging is a step in the right direction, and even if all the 10 products were made with 100% compostable material, there is no denying that the production and logistics behind the 9 wasted products have a massive environmental impact. Not only is plastic, unused makeup, and money wasted, but the wasted carbon emission due to inessential production and logistics is deplorable. The packaging alone is estimated to cause 18 million acres of deforestation annually, according to Forbes.

We do away with this wastage by:

1. Building modular products, where production is limited to a handful of 'cartridges' and the actual factory is literally moved to the user's hand,

2. Making our components reusable, and

3. Giving the user completely personalized color options, so that the problem of a color mismatch does not arise. 

CLEAN: We are just as conscious about what we put on our skin as we are about what we add to the earth. We source the highest quality clean ingredients from the US, Australia, and Japan. Our formulations are tested in independent labs for heavy metal, toxins, and lead content. We are currently in the process of getting EWG certification for all our products.

VEGAN: We are a vegan brand. That means all our formulations are free of any animal-derived ingredients such as beeswax, carmine, etc.

CRUELTY-FREE: We only work with manufacturers that have a cruelty-free manufacturing environment. We do not market our products in countries that mandatorily require animal testing of cosmetic products, which means, none of the products under our brand are tested on animals. We are in the process of getting a cruelty-free certification.

ETHICALLY SOURCED: All the ingredients going into our products are ethically sourced. For example, our gorgeous shimmer add-ons are made of the highest-quality, synthetic, non-plastic mica that’s better for you and better for the earth. Our assembly line is also run by people with special needs.

TEXTURE & FINISH: The lip colors are highly pigmented and waterproof. It lasts all day and is completely mask-proof, so you can confidently wear it under your mask without the fear of smudging.
