Hi, we're a group of enthusiastic and driven film students, looking to make a film that we, and our contributors, can be proud of. This campaign will help us feed our crew, house our actors, and take us to our wide range of locations, over the course of our two week shoot. We hope these simple necessities will allow us to create the film that we've all devoted ourselves to producing.
We are aiming to raise £1000, which will be spent on accommodation for our cast and crew, as well as feeding them, transporting them, and keeping them warm in the winter weather of Northern England. We see a completely successful campaign as raising one thousand pounds, but we are flexible, and have a comprehensive plan to make the best use of whatever funding we are fortunate enough to get. By compressing our shooting schedule, and approaching the script and filming in a different manner, we will be able to make the most of any funding, guaranteeing that the film is completed, no matter what.
This film could offer a valuable perspective on an increasingly relevant subject, whilst retaining an artistic value and being an entertaining experience for viewers. We hope to show this film in festivals around the world, and bring an international light to the topic at hand. Our team is made up of students of the Northern Film School, an internationally recognised institution, that produces a high number of successful projects and members of the film industry. We have all had success on previous projects, both and in and out of the film school. Our team is very capable and energised about this project.
This production faces some challenges; its wide scope and ambition for a student film means that we will pushing ourselves and our budget to the limit. We'll be competing with the elements, terrain, and most importantly, time. However, we plan to be pragmatic, and make the necessary decisions and sacrifices that we need to, in order to make this film possible.
If you can't contribute monetarily, you are more than able to help in other means, such as sharing this campaign through social media, spreading the word to friends and family, or even sending us a personal message of support.
Thanks for your time and support,
The Crew of Little Sin
