Project Summary
Adults and children bonding at bedtime is an important part of everyday life and so many kids love it when their parents or guardians make their own stories for them. But what if there was a new way to make bedtime even more special AND fun?
Introducing, Little Voices.
This is a unique idea bringing parents and children closer together as they use an online tool that creates their own stories from scratch, placing their kids at the heart of the story.
- Simple ‘click and choose’ options bring the story to life as our heroes journey through their magical creations meeting interesting characters along the way and exciting events chosen by them
- Stories can range from 5 minutes to 15 minutes long
- Once story has been created, it is sent to us where we will expand and narrate the story.
- Additional music, sound effects can be added in post-production
- Once completed, an audio file of the completed story is sent back to them(timescale TBC) and parents and kids listen and enjoy their creations!
What We Need & What You Get
We are aiming to make this a truly innovative project unlike anything anyone has ever seen or used before. The construction of the online platform and post-production equipment is where the majority of the funds will be distributed, allowing a 100% quality product from start to finish.
We are seeking £15,000 initially for the launch of Little Voices. This will be used for:
- Construction of the website/ native iOS & Android App
- Design & Programming staff to allow as many story variations as possible
- Recording equipment for the narration
- Sound editing software suites for post-production of narrative
- Voice over actors for narration preference
- PR & Marketing

The Impact
This truly is a unique service that we are very excited about. There are countless families out there that would like to get closer to their kids and this is the perfect platform to let kids imagination run wild and bring both parent and child closer together.
Imagination is something that is missing these days and it is an amazing opportunity to give kids the extra chance to create a magical world they can enjoy again and again.
Risks & Challenges
The biggest hurdles we will face will be creating a completely full proof system that in time will give users an exceptional amount of options on where the story takes them. Research and development time is going into what kids really like and what flares their creative side. We foresee a heavy amount of programming and testing before launch.
Another challenge is the turnaround time from taking the kids concepts and turning them into a living, breathing audio story. However, we the correct programming in place to pre-set the narrative of the story, and a good selection of voice over talent able to record the story promptly after the story has been submitted by the parent, we are confident that we can complete each order within three days.
