What Is Lonely Echoes?
Following the events of ALONE and Masquerade, Detective Kim Spenser searches for her missing sister in a small rural town that is hiding many deadly secrets. Lonely Echoes is best described as SEVEN meets Psycho.
My name is Jason Pitts. I'm a writer/director out of Arkansas. I earned my degree in Radio, TV, and Film from the University of North Texas. I have been passionate about film my entire life. A few years ago, I decided to give filmmaking my all.
I decided to start with a short film called ALONE. In the process of producing ALONE, I met a ton of talented people in Arkansas, and our team grew. We created a fun story with some great characters that you can watch here. https://youtu.be/f337I5d1xY0
ALONE went on to have an amazing festival run over the course of a year. ALONE had 34 official festival selection across the globe, and won 16 awards, including best editing, best special effects, and best directing.
During the development of ALONE, I expanded the story to become 4 films. My goal is to film each one in the style of a different horror sub-genre. ALONE is the psychological horror, like Misery or Psycho.
The second installment of the ALONE sage is called Masquerade. Masquerade is currently in its festival run. We started submitting in late December of 2021. To date, Masquerade has been accepted into 12 festivals, and has won 7 awards, including 3 for best short film, 1 for best screenplay, and 1 for best acting.
The amazing team that has come together and worked so well for these 2 films worked for free for both films. We produced ALONE for $1500, and Masquerade for $4,000. The majority of that went to food and rooms for the cast and crew.
These talented people who have been so gracious with their time, talent, and energy deserve to be compensated, and I would love to be able to do that for the 3rd film, Lonely Echoes. Our goal is to raise $20,000. This would allow me to pay the cast, crew, and pay for food and rooms, and have a some extra for any surprises.
If you choose to back this project, you would be helping me pay a talented group of filmmakers, and make it possible for all of us to continue to do what we love, and get closer to finishing what we started, The ALONE SAGA.
What We Need & What You Get

We need to raise $20,000 in order to pay the cast, crew, and pay for food, rooms, special effects, and then there will be about $1500 for anything that comes up, which there always is.
We will have some cool perks for you to choose from, including being an extra in the final scene in the film, getting your face on a missing poster, or even getting a sneak peek at the screenplay!
If we don't reach our goal, we will pay the cast and crew as much as we can, and the rest will be paid over time, as we can pay them. We don't plan to start production until we meet our needed budget.
The Impact
Your contribution would make all the difference. It would mean that 30 or so talented people would get to continue to do what they love. It would mean that we get to continue to the tell the very cool story that The ALONE Saga is telling.
