This is the official IGG page for the amateur UK film adaptation of John Green's critically acclaimed novel
'Looking For Alaska'.
The film is produced by Vicarious Pictures and directed by Lewis Walsh.
'Looking For Alaska' is currently in the early development stage - this means actors (of all ages above 15, male and female), crew, musicians, artists and the like are needed.
Casting for actors will begin in October 2014.
Those who wish to be considered to participate in the film (actors/musicians/artists/graphic designers/crew/other) should message the Facebook page.
The film will hopefully be released in 2016.
Plot outlineBEFORE
Miles Halter’s whole life has been one big non-event until he starts at anything-but-boring Culver Creek Boarding School and meets Alaska Young. Gorgeous, clever, funny, sexy, screwed up and utterly fascinating she pulls Miles into her world, launches him into a new life, and steals his heart. But when tragedy strikes, and Miles comes face-to-face with death he discovers the value of living and loving unconditionally.
