Thank you for visiting this page
Loot it! will be a 2D puzzle game where you help our not-so-smart rogue to get his hands on the treasure. By moving walls and other objects, you can make a safe path to the precious loot or push him to a miserable death.
My name is Adam, and I’m a game developer since 2014. Currently, I’m managing Runemark Studio, which is our family business with my wife. We are creating Unity assets and tools for other game developers to help them in their work.

Loot it! is an interesting project, born from my disappointment caused by a false advertisement. I saw a video on facebook which shows a fun little puzzle game. It turned out that game doesn’t exist, it’s just a marketing trick. I was sad, I wanted to play with that game.
After reading the comments below the ad, I noticed many others feel the same way and waiting for someone to actually make that game. This is how the idea was born, and our facebook page grew over 1000 follower within a month.
I’m dedicated to this game, but it wasn’t in my original plans for this year. As I wrote above, I’m managing our little business, and also working as a freelancer. I have to balance my time between this two.
I could work on Loot It! in my free time but that way the development would take even years. A more effective way would be to replace my freelancer projects by developing this game. This is why I need your help.

My plan to finish this project by the end of this year. I believe it would be a great Christmas present for you all. :) This is my planned timeline so far. It might change later when the IndieGoGo project finishes.

What happens if the project doesn't reach its goal?
The project is running with a fixed goal concept. This means if we don’t reach the goal, IndieGoGo will give you a refund automatically within 5-7 days.

To work on this project full-time and deliver it by the end of this year, I need at least $2000 funding. From this amount the game will have one world with about 20 levels, and a handful of mechanics (like water, lava, doors, explosive barrels, spikes).
This is the bare minimum what the project requires. On the pie chart below you can see where this funding will go.

I prepared a few stretch goals for you to see where this project can go, what potentials does it have. Every additional $ beyond the goal will go to Art & Sound (after fees are removed from it).

Extra worlds are thematical categories of art sets and mechanics that only appear in that world. For better understanding, I show you two example worlds. Keep in mind that these are only samples. The actual world will be build and decided by the VIP community!

This game is developed by myself (Adam Galla) a solo indie game developer and freelancer from Hungary. I graduated in 2013 with a BSc degree in Software Engineering and working as a game developer since 2014.
The projects I worked on during these years, taught me, how to plan a project, set a realistic deadline, and use the budget well.
Since I'm a programmer I lack artistic knowledge. To get over this limitation I plan to hire an artist and use the Unity Asset Store.

Game development is an iterative process and full of challenges. Questions and problems could come up at any time during the work.
I contributed in many projects, encountered and successfully solved plenty of problems since I'm working as a game developer.
I won't say there is no risk in this project. However, I can promise that I'll keep you updated during the development. Not just about my successes, but my difficulties too.

If you don’t want or can’t contribute to this project, you can still help me to make it successful.
Please, share this page and get involved on social media. The more people we get involved, the better this game will be!
