Who We Are
We are a small, but dedicated independent film group passionate about our craft and our work. We're bringing diversity to the screen and want to match that energy in our crew as well; giving up-and-coming POC filmmakers a chance at working on a professional set.
The Story
Lost In Paradise is a character study about five estranged siblings at different points in
their lives who come together in the wake of their mothers untimely death. We explore the
themes of loss, innocence, family, and grief at a fundamental level.
At its core the story is about loss, and reconnecting with lost connections that the bonds of families have. The characters are rich with grounded realism, and relatability to which the audience will captivate themselves as we further explore the lives of each sibling.
If you have loss someone close to you, or found that missing connection, then this film is the right one for you.
Meet The Cast & Crew
We have already assembled an amazing cast, who has worked on previous projects of mine such as horror web series, "No Rest For The Wicked" currently streaming on Amazon Prime. We can provide a link below to the trailer for more information!
“Lost in Paradise” is an independent self-financed family drama shooting in Charlotte,
North Carolina at the beginning of May 2022. Our biggest influence for the visual language of
the film is the beautiful “Revolutionary Road”; directed by Sam Mendes and shot by Roger
Deakins. Because we are self-funded and low budget, shooting on 35mm film is a bit out of the
realm of possibilities for us, so our goal is to shoot the film on the Arri Alexa Mini.
Our Goal
Our goal is to raise an additional 10,000 which will cover the following:
Equipment rentals
Location rental
Meals + Transportation
Props
Crew/ Rates
