What is Love is Thicker than Water?
They say that opposites attract, but what happens next? Do opposites stay together? What happens when opposites meet the parents and siblings? And can opposites weather the inevitable storm when it comes?
Often quirky and fun, sometimes painful and rough, Love is Thicker than Water gives an uncompromisingly true account of real love.
This hugely exciting project also takes a novel approach to film making, using the skills of two directors to create both strong performance and visual dynamics.
Love is Thicker than Water is a collaboration between veteran cult film director Ate de Jong (Drop Dead Fred) and Emily Harris, multi-award winning short film director and Head of Film Production at the Victoria and Albert Museum, making her feature film debut.

Our Hopes for Love is Thicker than Water
At a time when technology and the pace of life mean that we are ever more separated from personal interactions and relationships, this film couldn't be more timely. Bringing back to the fore family and romantic relationships and reminding us all how important the little moments and snapshots of life are.
We want to raise these funds to increase the quality of Love is Thicker than Water and showcase it at festivals from Autumn 2015 as the first step on the path to a wider release both in theatres and across other platforms. If we're lucky enough to go beyond our funding target, we'll use the money to further promote the film.
