Luca & Bosco is an ice cream and dessert company based in NYC. We strive to make people happy through food. Our ice cream has integrity, and is made from all natural ingredients, organic whenever possible, less sweet and packed with flavor.
Run by co-founders Catherine Oddenino and Ruthie V, Luca & Bosco’s mission is to bring deliciousness to people’s lives one scoop at a time.

As an added bonus, everything we make is gluten-free including our toppings, waffle cones, cookies and ice cream cone shaped dog biscuits (inspired by the real life Luca and Bosco). We don’t want our canine friends to be left out of the ice cream fun.
Catherine is the mom of Luca, a 3 year old, 5 pound, white Maltese. Ruthie is the mom of Bosco, an 8 year old, 90 pound, chocolate Lab. They are the inspiration for the name.
We recently raised money for our first industrial ice cream machine, but now we are moving into a commercial kitchen and need a big blast freezer and ice cream carts and coolers for events.
A BLAST FREEZER - $7,000
The blast freezer helps us get our ice cream super duper cold when we're making it so that it has less ice crystals. It also gives us a place to store ice cream at a cold enough temperature to keep it from freezing and defrosting (which is what happens in a regular freezer). We learned how to do all of this at Ice Cream Science School at Penn State. Yes, Ice Cream Science School is a real thing.
ICE CREAM CARTS AND COOLERS - $5,000
We want to bring our ice cream to events and farmer's markets this summer but that means we need carts and coolers to keep them frozen at the events. It's kinda crazy how expensive these things are, but they have cool plates that will keep them cold for 12 hours without access to power.
REWARDS
We will reward you with our undying gratitude AND ice cream and cookies and toppings and even ice cream cone shaped dog biscuits.
